Dear friend and fellow blog-traveler Diane R. was kind enough to forward these images along. I don't know if this RV has a heart of gold or not, but it certainly seems to be built out of gold. And I'm guessing it takes more than a few pounds of the stuff to buy it.

That's no elephant! Sailboat? I think I would go with small yacht! John it looks like it could even tell you what gear you are in at any time. My guess is that you wouldn't have any tank problems either.

Just wanted to say hi and thank you for inviting me to sort of join your trip across the country. Sounds as if you have had a really great time - even with all the ups and downs one can expect on such an undertaking :). I'm sure it will be memorable for the kids as well - especially Amelia.

Seriously, I do really enjoy reading your blog and learning about, no, virtually experiencing life of another flavor than I'm used to. Exposure to variety helps to provide perspective, and joy - and this has certainly been an enjoyable, insightful, and adventurous few weeks.
